We heart disney!

We were very blessed to go to Disney twice in a couple months. Our first trip Laila and I went with my mom and sister while daddy stayed home with Emms. We had such a fun time and stayed at Caribe Royale. Here are some pictures from our trip...

Our second time at Disney was with Jason's family. Emmie came with us this time. We celebrated Jason's 30th birthday at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party, spent time at Downtown Disney, and then Hollywood Studios. Jason and I went resort hopping and enjoyed drinks and dessert on top of the Contemporary Resort while watching the fireworks and Magic Kingdom from the most perfect view ever! Here are some pictures from our second trip...

I realized how much I miss having annual passes to disney and how enjoyable it is, especially with having kids. It really is the most magical place on earth!

6 months!

Wow! A half a year old already. It seems like forever ago since Emelia was born, but time has also flown by. This age is so much fun. She copies everything you do and is almost sitting up on her own. She has the cutest little giggle and a smile that makes your day. Bless her sweet little heart.

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was super fun! I knew it would be considering Laila loves candy and seemed to be interested in everything Halloween. I procrastinated once again with their costumes but managed to put something so cute together for the both of them. I had no clue what to make Emms since she isn't totally sitting up yet and it was her first halloween. I made both the girls costumes for $10. I decided to make Emmie a little red "Emmienem" and Laila her little candy monster. Laila originally was going to be the yellow m&m, but I wasn't too thrilled with how it looked on her. So I made a clip, recycled a tutu I had made for her last year and stuck some candy wrappers all over it. Her shirt was a gift from her wonderful aunt. They were both a big hit. Emmie passed out before the trick or treating even began and I was a little worried about Laila since she didn't have a nap that day. But she was too busy saying "Trick or Treat, thank you, Happy Halloween" to realize how tired she was. Laila, or should I say mommy and daddy, got a bag full of chocolaty goodies. We had a great time as always! The Little's always make Halloween a fun time!

October in NY.

My sister, the girls, and I escaped to New York to visit some family. We met my mom and spent a week at my Aunt Nancy's house. Just relaxing and enjoying the fall weather. This was Emmie's first plane ride and Laila's third. I was extremely nervous traveling with two kids this time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Laila loved the plane, minus the taking off and landing part, she was a little scared. Emms barely cried and both of them slept a lot of the way. We didn't do much except hung out with family and watched the kiddies play. Here are some pictures from our trip.
